I lecture courses in the areas of Networking, Programming and Security in the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics of the Aveiro University.

Informatics Laboratories

This course is lectured to first year students of the Computers and Telematics Engineering course. It aims at introducing several concepts, methodologies and tools that are important to any computer scientist. The course is fast paced introducing one topic per week. Programming is presented as the key for understanding other concepts related to the way computers, robots, software and the Internet works.

Security

This course takes the students to the world of security in software and cryptography. Several classic attacks, authorisation and authentication methods are studied, as well as most current ciphers. In the practical classes, students must apply the knowledge they gathered during the classes in the form of integration projects.

(SIO) Security in Informatics and in the Organizations

This course takes the students to the world of security in information systems and in organizations. It focus in the exploration of several key architectures and technologies used to increase the security of common information systems.
